I just got off the phone with people I called on for WN. They used the attorneys (specifically Allard) and said he was wonderful! They got the free will and then paid him for making up living wills and a couple of other things. They said he wrote them up and sent the documents to them for approval in less than 24 hours.

I love the concept of the local “welcome wagon”, we live in a ridiculously fast pace environment where most everything can be done via an app or digitally and while that is certainly convenient we have lost touch with what is most important: friends, family and community. I love that Welcome Neighbor is holding steady with these “old school” values of being neighborly and reinforcing the concept of community; we have so many ways to virtually connect these days but we are missing that person to person connection and it needs to be restored.

I highly recommend Oxford Plumbing and Heating for your HVAC needs. When our family's very old AC unit stopped working in the middle of August, they installed a new system for us quickly. From our initial contact with their Comfort Specialist who came to our house and helped us choose the best and most efficient system for our budget, through the installation of the new HVAC system we were impressed by their professionalism and attention to our needs. The comfort of our family of six and our immediate need was placed ahead of other work orders they had that were less urgent so that we were able to have our home cool again within days. We couldn't be happier with our new system which came with a termed, free service agreement. Afterwards we received a call from Shawn, their Comfort Specialist, to check in on us and also a thoughtful thank you gift came in the mail, which was a lunch box filled with baked goods which our kids enjoyed. It was a very nice personal touch and shows their care and appreciation for their customers. Prior to that we also used their 24 hour emergency service for a burning smell coming from our heat vents very late at night. After some questions, they were able to reassure me over the phone that it was not urgent while still be willing to come check it right then if I preferred. I opted to wait until morning and they came to check the heating unit for us the next day. Thankfully it was nothing serious as they suggested on the phone. I highly recommend Oxford Plumbing and Heating for their professionalism, quality work and excellent customer service!

I sure enjoyed your February Neighborly News and your review of "The Gables Restaurant." You didn't specify what kind of food they serve (guess regular American fare?) and what the food prices were like. Wine seems to always be priced high, but if you can do BYOB, do they have a corkage fee? I will want to visit that place next time I come up from Florida.
I truly enjoy reading all your Neighborly News issues, and I wish I had moved into a neighborhood who had someone like you and your women who help you! When everything is new and you don't know what's good around your area, it really helps.
