June Events - 2026
Libraries: More than books! Our community libraries serve as community gathering places for people of all ages, with so many events and opportunities! We encourage you to click around the links we provide below every month at your local library’s site. You’ll find book clubs, children’s reading hours, a chance to mess with 3-D printing, knitting clubs, authors’ events, FREE movies for kids and adults, family board games get-togethers, chess clubs, Walk-in technical help (great for seniors), Mahjong clubs, yoga classes, and more! There is something for everybody. Go ahead and click!
(NOTE: For a small fee, you can join a library system in Chester County or Delaware County if you don’t reside in that county, and doing so opens the entire county’s library system to you! We borrow and reserve books online and get them downloaded to our Kindles using the “Libby” app, and we are members of both counties’ library systems.)
June Events at the Rachel Kohl Library:

And they provide at- home delivery of books and magazines (and those Kindles, I’d guess) for those who don’t drive, are elderly, or unable in some way to show up!  If you do show up, bring some food for the Garnet Valley Pantry on the library property.
