How to Create an Effective Email Campaign... it will pay off!
Use a subject line that mentions you're a Welcome Neighbor sponsor like:
"Greetings and Well Wishes from__________ a Welcome Neighbor sponsor"
WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD!
Here’s where you want to insert your personal welcome while linking back to the welcome visit from Welcome Neighbor:
“We want to personally welcome you, and we hope you enjoyed your visit from Welcome Neighbor and our gift to you.”
Nathan Appleby, owner of Eden Landcare, gets excellent results with great emails he sends to all the newcomers we visit. Use his ideas as a guide.
Logo with phone and website—perfect!
My name is Nathan Appleby. I am the owner of
(How personal! How nice.)
Eden Land Care; a full service lawn and landscape company that has been serving Delaware and Pennsylvania for over a decade.
We specialize in high quality landscaping & hardscaping installation, lawn renovations, lawn care, & property maintenance services.
We would be honored to be your go-to landscape contractor this upcoming season!
Look for a follow-up postcard coming in the mail as well as emails with important information and offers! (Continuous outreach is the name of the game! Harvest your crop! Dig for your gold!)
Give me a call at (302) 379-2405, email me personally, or go to www.edenlandcare.com for more information and a preview of projects and services we offer.
I'm excited to help you and look forward to hearing from you!
(Ahh, the value of a good head shot.)
What we have been up to...
When you are considering that new patio, updating your existing landscape, or are in need a of a lawn care provider
consider Eden Land Care for all of your needs!
(If gallery photos don’t work for your business, substitute here by giving text examples of how you’ve helped customers recently.)
Find Out More
(“Find Out More” links back to Eden Land Care’s website and to a regular newsletter he puts out. If you don’t
have a newsletter, that’s fine, but you should link back
to either your website or directly to a landing page of your positive reviews, or your complete menu or
services list. Or you could issue a direct call to action and
say “Request our Welcome Neighbor Offer of ___________.)
(OK, get creative here: share what you have to offer and how you can help that new homeowner!
If you’ve never followed up by email before, go back to all the visit lists we’ve sent you and do a big mailing to all of them! adding some new incentives.
We thought of:
a restaurant doing a quarterly welcome luncheon for all the newcomers at a special price
a restaurant simply reiterating their welcome offer for a complimentary appetizer and listing their appetizer list
an insurance company reminding them of the importance of getting their home theater, off-road vehicles, boats, motorcycles and home office equipment covered an electrician on the value of a whole-house generator
a plumber on NEVER buying water in plastic bottles again by adding a top-quality water filtration system
Use your imagination to promote your services directly to that new homeowner who is so open to getting all things right in their new environment.
